The European Commission, in partnership with the Ministry of Energy of Poland, the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOS) and the UN Environment Finance Initiative is organising a regional Conference on Financing Energy Efficiency in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Lithuania, which will take place in Warsaw on Thursday, 30 November 2017, from 9.00 to 17.00.
National Energy Conservation Agency participates in the European project DREEAM. The goal of the project is to demonstrate the possibility of achieving a 75% reduction in energy consumption in residential buildings in a multi-building layout. The project also analyzes the application of solutions in Ukraine in Krzywy Róg City. Andrzej Rajkiewicz, the Polish Project Coordinator was invited to Ukrainian television to talk about the project and the advantages of using photovoltaic panels and deep thermal modernization in uninsulated buildings.

Does buildings certification lower energy costs in offices?
“Business for Climate. Operating Costs of Office Buildings” is a pioneering European scale publication which compares energy consumption by certified and non-certified office buildings in the Polish marketplace and also presents best practices of companies involved in addressing climate change. The study, carried out by key real estate players in Poland, provided the first and only such analysis, based on energy consumption data from 48 office buildings. It is a first step in building energy efficiency benchmark for Poland.
On 9-10th of October 2016 in Radisson Blu Hotel in Warsaw will be held next edition of EuroPOWER Energy Conference. Representatives of the industry will have an opportunity to discuss emerging issues and challenges, which the energy industry is facing. The event forms a unique platform for exchanging knowledge, opinions, experiences and concept of realization of energy projects between representatives of regional authorities, government departments and local authorities, public administration, representatives of following sectors: production, energy distribution, power plants, gas, fuel and cooperating sectors.
On behalf of the Lewiatan Confederation and the National Energy Conservation Agency S.A., we would like to invite you to take part in a workshop dedicated to representatives and owners of small and medium-sized enterprises during which we will present the SME tool. With this tool, you can analyze energy consumption in your company independently, as well as get the information on what kinds of actions you can implement to reduce energy consumption and operating costs. In some cases, the cost reduction can be significant, by around 10-20%.
We invite you to watch the new video presenting project RentalCal. This project focus on the current level of energy efficiency investments in the rental housing sector, which is in danger of missing EU policy targets. RentalCal aims to develop models and tools for assessing the commercial viability of energy efficiency retrofitting in the rental housing stock. This will reduce split incentive barriers, price in green added value and show a clear road map towards a sustainable housing stock.

On 11th and 12th of June 2016 in Masovian Agricultural Advisory Centre Poświętne Branch in Płońsk, XVII'th Masovian Agricultural Days were held. This largest agricultural fair in Masovian Voivodeship gathered farmers, growers, and agriclutural equipment manufacturers from all over the voivodeship. On the first day of this event the BioEnergy Farm 2 project representatives were present.
