Examinations

According to the Construction Law the examination procedure consists of two phases:

I – verification of documents presented by the candidate that are required by the ordinance

II – two-part written exam:

    • part 1- multiple choice test – answer 60 of 80 questions correctly in 120 minutes

    • part 2 – elaboration of energy performance certificate for a building in 180 minutes

A candidate who wants to take the exam has to present to the Minister the following documents not later than 30 days before the date of the exam:

  • application for the exam

  • certified copy of a Master of Science diploma

  • filled out questionnaire that is annexed to the ordinance

  • declaration stating that the candidate has no criminal record

  • document confirming course completion

  • receipt for the examination fee for the first phase

Attention – in the case of women whose last name figures differently on documents, a copy of marriage certificate is required.
