Objectives
The
objective of the “Green City Building” project is to develop a
model system of urban management that takes into account sustainable
development policy and the most efficient implementation of EPBD, on
the basis of experiences and cooperation of 6 cities (from Austria,
Denmark, Germany, Greece, Hungary, and Poland) and groups of experts
from these countries.
The
chosen societies representing Western, Eastern, Northern and Southern
Europe make up a good basis for the exchange of experiences
concerning the implemented systems of management and building local
strategies taking into account the principles of sustainable
devepment (Green Build Strategies).
Results
On
the basis of the evaluation tool, “Green Tool” developed in the
framework of the EGCN project, and after trainings for the local
authorities, experts together with local decision makers will
elaborate:

local
strategy for the development
of sustainable building,
-
local
Action Plan adjusted to real conditionings,
-
training
program and
workshops for chosen groups interested in broadly understood energy
sector (building owners, developers, real property managers,
architects, energy suppliers),
-
regulations
for “Green
City Building Certificate” awarded to cities, whose building
sector development is conducted in accordance with the principles of
sustainable development.
