The
growth of water power sector in Poland is going to be achieved
through development of the so-called Small Hydroelectric Plants. They
have many advantages:

installed in many places on small watercourses

years, the equipment is easily available and the technology well
mastered

technological simplicity results in high
reliability and endurance

they require small personnel and can be
remotely-controlled

dispersed location shortens transmission distance
and diminishes its cost
