Thermomodernization undertakings

The undertakings can be considered under energy audit if:

  1. they lead to a reduction in energy use or energy loss, ex.:

  • thermal insulation (of walls, roofs, ceilings over unheated basements)

  • replacement or renovation of windows

  • installing thermostatic valves

  • insulation of ducts

  • installing weather-driven controllers

  • modernization of domestic hot water installation

  • use of mechanical ventilation

  1. they result in reduction of annual energy cost, ex.:

  • replacing energy source

  • replacing energy carrier

  1. they involve a replacement of energy source for a renewable one or applying high-performance cogeneration, ex.

  • use of solar collectors

The loan contracted for thermomodernization cannot be used to finance works that:

  • are contracted under another loan that has received Thermomodernization or Renovation bonus;

  • received funding from the budget of the European Union.
